Wayne Simmons started his career in the jewelry industry in 1986 upon returning from the military. After graduating from Stewarts International School for Jewelers in Juniper Florida, Wayne spent 10 years perfecting his craft by working with talented jewelers and studying technique. He has achieved a high level of skill and professionalism through his hard work and dedication.His inspiration for jewelry came from his father, a jeweler and watchmaker himself. Wayne is fascinated with new design concepts and excels in all aspects of stone setting. He also loves the challenge of creating custom pieces for Avant Gold’s customers. He is also persuing the art of hand engraving in his spare time.

Beyond the realm of jewelry, Wayne and his wife live by a private airport with two of his children and cat. Wayne enjoys the natural outdoors and is an avid aviation enthusiast.
