Suanne with her husband & partner, Jeff, created Avantgold Jewelers over 30 years ago. She specializes in listening & translating customer’s expectations into fine jewelry.

After graduating with a BFA in fine arts & continuing her education at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, Suanne gained a strong foundation that allows her to combine artistic ability with technical knowledge.

From her selection of unique merchandise to the creation of custom jewelry for numerous satisfied clients Suanne has found her niche. The greatest affirmation of having produced a design that becomes a treasured piece is the “word –of-mouth” phenomena! “I’m happiest when a satisfied customer refers friends and family for custom design work or when I see a beautiful piece of jewelry on a customer and realize it came for our store.”

When not riding dressage or reading, Suanne enjoys hiking with her “dog” friends, fly fishing, pottery & sharing time with family. Involvement with her two Wolfhounds & a Collie fill many happy hours.
