J.T. started in the Jewelry industry in 1989 as a manager trainee with Fox Jewelers in his hometown of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. In 1993, he relocated to Tampa as the manager for Kay Jewelers. He joined AvantGold Jewelers in 1995.

When J.T. isn’t spending time with his first love, wife Geri and three children Lauren, Vinnie and Taylor, he’s playing golf. His second love is the Miami Dolphins professional football team. He has been a fan since he was 5, when he went to a birthday party and players from the team were there.
